Description of the operation:
Within the framework of the public call for tender “Support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the field of tourism to increase material and energy efficiency, co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund”, the company Dušan Iršič s.p. has successfully obtained a grant for the implementation of the operation “ENERGY RENEWAL OF THE IRŠIČ HOSPITALITY AND ROOM”.
The project “ENERGY RENOVATION OF THE IRŠIČ INN AND ROOM” will renovate the accommodation facilities and the Iršič Guesthouse to improve energy and material efficiency. The project will rehabilitate the building envelope, insulate the attic and basement, replace windows with more energy efficient ones, replace the existing furnace with a heat pump, install a heat recovery ventilator, replace all fixtures with more energy efficient ones, and reduce waste with a dehydrator, reduced water consumption with a rainwater tank, installed convector heaters, replaced wasteful light bulbs with energy saving ones, produced an energy performance certificate, redesigned the website and printed new propaganda material such as brochures, leaflets, mailing envelopes, etc.
The purpose of the call for proposals is to improve the competitiveness of SMEs in the tourism sector by promoting measures to use renewable energy sources and reduce energy and material consumption.
The aim of the operation is to improve the competitiveness of tourism businesses through measures to use renewable energy sources and reduce the use of energy and materials. The objective of the operation is to reduce operating costs by introducing material and energy efficiency measures or increasing the use of renewable energy sources and to reduce the development lag of the tourism enterprise. The operation resulted in the energy renovation of the Iršič guest house and rooms.
The amount of the grant received for the implementation of the operation is € 155,835.05.
